Coreys ongoing "build thread"
Just got bored and started in on my wire tuck project Ive read up on a lot of threads on it but still have a few questions.. and will have more as we go haha
Is extending any of the wires in the engine bay going to cause issues?
What gauge wire should be used?
Any other advice or tips would be helpful! thanks
DAY 1 results.. and password intake set in place

I suggest buying a used wiring harness for the wiring you want to extend. Just use sections of the wires being extended. That way the wire gage and color coding will be maintained. I did this when I relocated the fuse box and it worked out fine.
I put the fusebox in the fender.. didnt need to extend any there.. relocatred that little box under the hood (forget its name) to in thwe fender as well.. drilled and tapped holes to use the stock bolts in the new location.. now im trying to clean up the harness and I lost my electrical tape haha
Got the driver side mostly done..
Battery is going in the trunk.. going to run a distribution block with the 2 8 gauges that went to the stock battery on one side, 4 gauge out the other side to a stinger fuse block (one at each end of the extended power cord) The box and fusebox were relocated behind the fender and I drilled and tapped out holes to re-use the stock bolts!! Now I need to extend all the wires for the driver side harness to there respective accesories.. Oh and the horn was relocated to underneath the headlight!

why not, its really not hard.. buy some auto body filler, and some sandpaper, remove what you can, and cover the rest, sand smooth, bring to a shop, they take off the fender, tape the rest, spray, done

haha in case it has to go back to stock ever
gotta keep everything reversible.. I can do the work as I do have quite a bit of auto body experience.. just dont want to do any undoable mods..
