ebay companies? ebay is just another venue for selling. It is my believe that megan and obx have both copied (legally or illegally) somewhat proven header designs at a fraction of the cost and quality(arguably)

Yes for the most part. They were small no name companies till they started selling their "knockoffs" on Ebay for a fratcion of the cost and started to gain poularity. Since then Megan has really improved some of their products from what they use to sell...

not arguable...their header designs are inferior to the real deals. some may consider them a substitute cheap header, but the quality is not the same.

I remember seeing megan racing parts on ebay for cheeeeeaaaaaaapppppp. Then next thing i knew there all over reputable vendor's websites. I do believe that they may have improved their products etc. but I just dont feel comfortable buying parts from someone who stole design idea's in the first place.

IDK just my .02. Just wanted to make sure I was right about them........

ehhh, my megan coil overs are great. Fitment, quality, and durability... I like them, and they serve the purpose.

I have had multiple suspension set ups on my race car (240z) by the way.

I dont doubt that they have nice coilovers. But in the beginning they seemingly did what every other knock off company does, which is wait for another reputable company to put in all the real time, effort, and money to R&D and steal the design once they do. Usually using lesser quality materials and craftsmanship, and ruining the chances of the original company selling as many peices as they wanted, thus hiking up the prices.

IDK it just irritates me.....
