Default Cosworth Performance Air Filter

Cosworth Performance Air Filters

Fits all S2000 model years.
Cosworth Performance Air Filters are constructed from a proprietary synthetic, non woven single layer, pleated polyester filter media that requires no oiling. For an OE like fit, the filter housing is injected molded from High Impact Polystyrene or Polypropylene Each Cosworth air filter has been engineered to fit the vehicles original air box providing a true cold air supply to the engine. Cosworth Performance Air Filters also provide increased air flow when compared to original equipment air filters.

It can be cleaned to prolong it's efficiency but doesn't require oiling. As with ALL filters, it needs to replaced over time. K&N type filters can be cleaned and re-oiled but will never get back to their original efficiency.

The OEM airbox draws cold air from in front of the radiator. The description simply indicates that the filter still utilizes this OEM characteristic unlike some aftermarket intake kits that require removing the air box and putting a filter onto a short aluminum pipe that draw in hot air from the engine bay.
