Default couple of exhaust questions

i've got a neuspeed catback right now (the car came with it when I bought it), and I wanted to add a header and test pipe to the mix. I was thinking Megan header and either a berk or megan test pipe. Would everything match up correctly? I really like the look and sound of the neuspeed exhaust, but I was thinking I might switch it up for a Invidia V3 eventually as I would like to stay duals.

Thoughts?

the main thing you need to look for is to check to be sure that the diameters of the piping do not reduce in interior diameter. For instance, 70 mm out of the header to 63mm test pipe to 70mm exhaust. You would want it to go from 70mm to 70mm to 70mm. Essentially try your best to not create a bottle neck. You will not get optimal gans if you do. Also search for the header thread and you will be able to find some good information about which headers make power and which ones dont.

That's true. What do you think would be better? Getting a 2.5" header, 2.5" test pipe and mating it to the neuspeed exhaust.... or get a 70mm header, 70mm test pipe and when money allows it, get a 70mm dual exhaust?

Is the neuspeed catback any good? I like the looks and the sound.

inches to mm is hard for conversion as i don't have a ruler. lol, a easy rule to remember is as long as you are not decreasing in size as you go from header to testpipe to cal back you will be fine.

70mm header? since when do they make a header with a 70mm collector? I'd like to know!
