I read that the OEM CR Wing actually produced downforce.

But judging by your statement looks to be a good replica. Any issues in terms of quality from your perspective? Did you paint it underneath the spoiler as well?

looks very nice! Would love to see some close up
Seems like a accurate replica, the only difference I could see is in the stands where the OEM ones have 'covers' that basically go over the supports so there are holes/plugs in the OEM one that are not on the Seibon one. One CR owner commented he liked mine more since the OEM ones can kind of rattle and the Seibon provides a little cleaner look. I picked it up used but in great condition, the clear coat seemed quality and the weave was beautiful everywhere. Yes the whole spoiler portion was painted GPW and I had the same body shop do a clear coat on the stands just to prevent any yellowing/issues(I've heard horror stories of CF parts yellowing with age due to crappy clear coat).

I don't really have any close up pictures but here are a few from right after I installed it. Let me know if you're looking for a picture of something specific;

OEM. Couldn't find any completely positive reviews on a replica and wanted the more robust/substantial mounting of the OEM one over the replicas.... so as they say, buy once cry once.

Thank You!

Thanks @spaded.racer . Very Helpful

I guess that was ultimately my issue... should I cry once and buy OEM CR wing or is the seibon replica worth going the replica route or will I regret it.

seems to me that I should go the replica route based on your posts

NP, glad I can help in some way.

If I were to do it all over again I'd probably buy the CR trunk instead of drilling up my OEM trunk and fretting over proper placement of the holes(CR trunk has holes pre drilled and some body structure modifications for the bracing). I'd still get the Seibon wing and save some money that way, plus CF looks badass and do like having the CF stands/uprights.

Thanks again. i may take you up on that advice.

Last question sorry to bother but do the seibon spoiler holes line up with the OEM CR holes?

or do i need to enlarge or drill new ones?

and is this the cr style seibon version?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Seibon-TF-S...AAAOSw7k9dudHf

thank you again

That is a great question that I'm not sure I know the answer to. I believe the holes are in the same spots and the same size bolts are used.

That looks like the correct wing but you can do better on price I think. I believe @jackmugen02 has a Seibon hookup, or @THMotorsports if they are a Seibon reseller should be able to do better than that eBay listing.

In stock, ready to ship

And yes, the CR wing and the Seibon wing are identical in function. Since it's the same 3D profile and a very accurate replica, it will reduce lift just as the OEM CR wing does.
