Default Cracked / Crazing Tail Lights

My tail lights are pretty much shot. It developed stress cracking / crazing (I believe it's due to Florida sun light but not sure). First of all, can this be fixed? Sand them down and re-coat with protectant? It doesn't seem like we've had too many cases of headlight/tail light crazing on s2ki; I was able to find two threads (headlight crazing & tail lights crazing) but didn't see any solutions.

Cracks are only visible under sun light and at certain angles only. If sanding them down isn't an option, I'm thinking about getting them painted in slight smoke or plastidipping them -- hopefully they can hide the cracks.

I have the same thing! I thought they were just cracks. Would be nice to be able to sand them off....

What are you guys planning on doing? I guess this is more common than I thought. It's just more visible on Altezza type lights.

I'll probably live with it for now.

Mines not nearly as bad as yours.

I'm guessing the west Texas sun had something to do with it. Now, my car gets a life of luxury in the garage. I bet it's been like that for some time, I just now noticed it (right angle, right lighting).

I'll be sure to keep them well coated in 303 and see if it worsens.
