Default craftsquare mirrors

I purchased a set of craftsqaure mirrors but I cant use the bases because I had the mirror holes shaved off the door for a cleaner look. I could run Mracing mirrors but I like craftsquares better. My question is where can i get custom bases to mount them. I know Diez has done this and I'm guessing this was custom. Any info would help....

Here's a pic for reference. Thanks.

That mirror on Diaz' car is actually for what I believe is a Nissan - I cant remember for sure, but it was for another car. He needed to do a lot of work to get those to mount in that position (cutting & shaping the base); it wasnt just plug & play.

You're better off making your own custom base.

I remember he mentioned that he purchased universal Craftsquare mirrors that weren't s2000 specific but Im not sure if the universal Craftsquare mirrors come with some sort of base.

Can someone shed some light on this? Possibly a vendor that sells Craftsquares?

i don't think any of the craftsquare plates would fit...the one for the 350z looks too big...probably have to go custom

If you decide to ditch the whole craftsquare idea let me know. I am looking for a set to do the same exact thing. Where did you purchase the mirrors?
