Default Creating a fully keyless start

I was thinking of modifying the start button to create a fully keyless ignition system for the S however security would be an issue because there would be no signal to stop the car from starting if the key wasn't in the car. So my question has anybody attempted this? How do you overcome this problem? Has anyone tried to pull one out of another car and install it?

This is a pretty cool system. However 350-600 bucks seems steep, I guess with an RFID key and receiver there is no way to get around the cost.

Anyway pretty cool, thanks for the info. Do you know anyone who has used this system?

nop! i saw your thread and triggered my curiosity haha, searched around on the net, can't find a whole lot of information. as much as i would like to convert the s to a entirely keyless ignition, what if i don't need to turn on the engin but to on so i can listen to music while im waiting on someone etc. both of the website did not clarify this information.

^ i was wondering the same and took another look in the VIEW FEATURES. you can listen to the radio without turning the car on by manipulating the brake pedal, in this case actually NOT pressing it. and that would be the first link http://www.digitalgu...GOKEYLESS1.html

Cool stuff. I think I'll wait for someone to be the guinea pig before. Maybe write a DIY.
