Nice! I actually wanted to do the white/red on my suzuka, I already did custom red/white LED dash controls myself and wanted it to match, but sadly i'm selling my S so no need to do it now.

Post pics once you get it! I've seen a few with them in blue and they look pretty good.

Here is one set I experimented with with a white background and red start button:

Here is what mine look like right now in my S. Red background, white start button (Not on in these pics, sorry!), white fan and A/C indicators, and a red Rec indicator:

Here are a few more pics in my DIY with different colors I tried if you go down on the page.

Lookin good, DFWs2k!

This mod's been on my list for a long time now, but more pressing issues continue to come up. Pretty soon I will need a new soft top, clutch, and whatever else needs replacing at 80k miles.

That's odd. My post went away...
Is there a DIY for this with bulb sizes n instructions somewhere?
Would love to Do this.
I realize the display cannot be done(well) without the cube kit but would love to change the colors of my controls.

I think suzuka blue s2k made a thread that listed all the sizes and linked to a walkthrough

A thread containing the info is called something like "dash light burned out, led replacement"

Yeah I just modified my OEM bulb bases and put the LED's in them, you can see how it's all done in the DIY at the bottom of my first post. I did actually find some that are a direct fit, no modifying or anything but they are kinda loose and a few of them won't stay on. I would just modify the the bulb bases you already have to fit the LED and resistors.
