Default cusco ladder bars

i was able to buy a set of cusco ladder bars from fellow s2kier Tony (moparacker). they had some minor surface rust and where discolored. i wanted to get them powdercoated but just didn't feel like waiting to get all of that done. i did a light sanding, cleaned them off and i just plastidipped them red. came out good and goes well with the tie bar and tunnel brace i have already.

haven't been able to really test out the effectiveness of the bars yet because i just dont like pushing the car on my snow tires, so ill have to wait another month till the summer tires go back on. but my initial impressions were turning into a corner felt much better. not sure how to describe the feeling exactly. going over bumps feels better as well. another thing is that the car feels good under hard braking, which is something that Tony said he had felt as well. overall im happy with the purchase and look forward to testing it out more once the weather gets better and the rs-3s come back on.

excuse the dirtiness. i do like to keep a clean undercarriage as well but just waiting for no more snow to do so

Looks good. I wonder how long the plasti dip will last being that the undercarriage is gonna get some abuse

Can't wait to hear a more under the limit review.IMHO it doesn't look like they'll do much.x and v bracing is what holds things together. Usually straight lines with no diagonal like these won't do much/ flex with car.did the tunnel brace do anything or was that bling? I ordered one for bling lol

yea i wasnt expecting too much so we'll see once i can push it. one thing i did read was that it does keep the rear of the car feeling more planted at higher speeds and some what neutralizes the car wanting to fish tail.

yea the tunnel brace is all show. it actually is a blox one but its the exact same one as the spoon and megan racing one. blox and megan racing swears it only fits ap1 but since its a replica of the spoon one, it fits MY00-05. it will not work on 06+ ap2's
