What main arc bar are you talking about? Are you talking about the bar that goes behind the seats and above the stock roll hoops? I would think that all of the 7-point cages will be the same, with the exception of the harness bars.

If you are going to get a roll bar or cage get one that meets SCCA rules even if you have no interest in the SCCA.

I'm not in USA so th SCCA rules aren't important for me.

On the Cusco's web site, The 7pts cage is availabe in 2 version for dash-escape. With or without main arch bar. I want to know if this bar is the same as the harness bar or if it's an other.

Thanks and sorry for my bad english

r jones is just saying the cusco one is not that functional. In any sort fo track driving or auto x event we avoid it. it is not a good design for interior safety in most eyes.

What would you guys reccomend instead of the cusco bar that would be suitable for track use? Thanks

I guess what I was trying to say is get one that's strong enough to do the job. Check the diameter of the tubing and wall thickness and type of tubing if they meet SCCA specs you know it's good. I do not know about the cusco just some things to check before you spend the money. Sorry I cannot answer you question.

I think Hard Dog makes a roll bar thats SCCA approved. It may not be on their web site so you may have to call them. I don't know anybody that sales a premade SCCA approved cage. If you want a cage I think it would have to be custom made. Most people say don't use a cage without a helmet. Check with them if you have to remove the stock roll hoops and if you can get into the secret compartment with the harness bar.

I have another question about cusco rollbar. I placed an order for a 6pts August 31, 2009 from a seller known on the forum along with other pieces. They have received all my parts except the rolbar which is still not arrived from Japan. Do you know how long it takes to receive normally?
