Default Cusco Roll Cage

Ok what i want to know is mainly for show or would this cage actually help in a event of a accident? How is it mounted in the car, bolt on or does it need to be welded in?

"Crushco" has got to have been coined for a reason.

crushco? are you kidding me?

we've all seen the pic of s2200gt's car after it rolled down a damn mountain with the 4pt rollbar. the car was fubar'd but the cage was entact. something tells me he was happy it was there.

now as for the full cage on the street, without a helmet, well now you're risking some serious head injury due to smacking your head against the bars...but in the event of a roll over, that thing is going to do it's job.

i have the 4pt with harness bar. i love the thing. i got it for safety and for looks. it's a two-fold safety product.

looks more like a safety hazard if you intend to use it without a helmet

as a side note thats a 6pt....the 7th is the diagonal bar where it reaches the lower mount plate.

as for rollover everyones right. as for daily driving and a wreck....wear ahelmit. no amount of bar padding short of 6 feet will keep you from denting your skull.

if you are really looking for roll over protection i sugges the 5pt (the diagonal is what you really want) or buy a different car with a roof.
