Default Custom 3" Piping And HKS $$$

So I have the HKS muffler, im going to have a full 3" exhaust built and the muffler mounted. Does $364 max or less sound right in price? that what i was quoted today. Anybody had a 3" custom built before?

I bought the hks carbon ti turbo canister for $200. Had 3" mandrel bent pipe made(single exit) for another $180 with a small resonator... $380 total for reference. Would have been ur price without res

I'm pricing my own custom 3in exhaust that I'm going to build myself. For me its about $150 for all the tubing and mandrel bent pipes (with a custom testpipe aswell) then add in the price of the mufflers. Of course this is just materials from my end because I'm doing the fabrication myself. So ya just over $300 doesn't sound, but too bad consideringthe shop has to make money.

I would want to know what material they will be using, and whether it will use mandrel bends. If they're going to use 16 gauge aluminized pipe with mandrel bends, then that price sounds fair.

Thanks guys..........Yes that's with mandrel bends, and I'm pretty sure its with aluminized piping as well. They built my 2.5" exhaust and installed my muffler on my PGT a couple years ago and did a awesome job, mandrel bends, aluminum piping and a good price that's why I was going to take it back to the same shop for the S. I just can't fund the recipe for what they charged me, I guess 3" is a bit more then 2.5" with some dremal work on the rusty cat lol.

Well it ended up being $322, exhaust sounds awesome and the car revs a lot easier now. Testpipe will be here tomorrow and should be on by the weekend
