Bronze color stainless steel with a knurled, engraved plastic (co-polymer) top. The weight is noticeably less than the OEM knob despite a healthy chunk of steel making up the base of the piece. It takes a few days to get used to it. I may press a piece of tungsten in the center to boost the weight. Cosmeticly the piece is great. The knurl is uniform and the turnning marks are minimal. The plastic top is nice because it doesnt get hot but the sun may eventually discolor it. Lathewerks will engrave anything you want in most fonts.
