Lol at haters. Out of sight out of mind might be the worst possible scenario for a fire extinguisher if you have to use it. I feel that this is a must for any FI trackers. I just SC'd my autox S and am about to add a fire bottle to mine. Thanks for the tip on location and bracketry!

I think it’s a great design . The only suggestion I would make is to secure the top of the bracket for high G turns. I track my car and need to investigate the rules regarding mounting.

I don’t understand people on S2Ki. There are so many haters. Grow up and offer constructive criticism or just keep your mouth shut.

In the late 70's, I pulled two kids still in their car seats out of a burning mini van. Had to use my pocket knife to cut the seat belts, because I could not figure out how to undo the car seats.. I've kept a "sharp" pocket knife in my pocket, and a fire extinguisher in each car ever since.. But I haven't yet put one in my S2k. I like this installation, but I'll carry mine in the trunk, probably where the spare tire is/ should be.

Passer by's had already spent two fire extinguishers by the time I drove up, and were helping the couple try to round up their show cats, who they had freed.. As I walked up, I could see fire under the dash and the van filled with smoke, and I saw the most terrifying look on the woman's face.. She (having just come to her senses) said, "The Kids" and started screaming.. All that time, probably 3 full minutes they had been saving cats... It all ended well, except I lost my brand new Vermont Castings jacket I put around one of the kids, still in his car seat up against the granite bank.
