I'm all for doing things just to be different but let's take a step back and look at this rationally...

HID housings look better
HID lights perform better
Halogen housings are ugly
Halogen lights perform worse

So, what's the motivation here?

LOL how much weight would you really lose from taking out the projectors hahahah
I'm actually doing the same thing for my track car with the primary purpose being to reduce weight so if thats what your trying to do then its not such a bad idea.

Projector and ballast probably a whopping 3-5 lbs or so lol. If only a track car then I guess everything counts. For the street that is just nonsense.

Still nonsense even if you track the car. Just ease off on your lunch that day.

I wouldn't do it. thats like putting putting civic seats in your car.

i would put a fa5's seat in my s2000, there so comfortable and dont look bad at all
i had a fg2 same seats, s2k seats are much nicer...

i cant ever seem to fall asleep in my s2ks seat but i fall asleep like a baby in civic seats.

I fall asleep in my girlfriend's Camry seats, but that doesn't mean I am swapping them in. This whole thread is fail...
