D2 RS coilovers
Hey guys, I was doing some online looking and ran accross D2 RS coilovers for our car. They are only around 800-900. That seems very cheap, but they look nice. I have heard good things about D2, just haven't heard about these specific coilovers. They have the pillowball mount, 36 way damping and rebound adjustment. It also, looks like they have a camber adjustment for the front coilovers. It may not actually adjust front camber, but it looks like that is what it would do. (Sorry if that is totally wrong, just getting into coilovers).

Anybody running these? Looking for something that will give little better handling than lowering springs, with decent ride, but mainly for ride height adjustments.
Thanks guys!

that's just a generic picture. there is no camber adjust like that on the s2000 ones. no s2000 coilovers have those. the only pics that look like the actual s2000 coilover is the one in the bottom left corner. the rest of the pics are from kits for other cars
i've not heard much about d2, so i'll let others chime in.

^OK. That would be nice to adjust the camber that way though. I have searched and searched and not found much on them. I found one guy that said they were way too stiff for normal street driving (which is what I mostly do). Just looking for other reviews.
Very true. I'm not looking for a mercedes ride per say. I would like for them to ride like my lowering springs when I have them set to soft. I have found one other review that says they are too stiff, even on the softest setting.
If you want cheap coilovers that have been reviewed you could look into Megan, Buddy Club, and Apexi. I picked up the Apexi N1 EXV's for $650 used and like them. I have it set toward the stiffer side but can tell they can run pretty soft as well. And you can drop them to the ground

D2's are made by the same company that makes Ksports. They are made in the same building on the same assembly line. I dont know anyone who has these on a s2000 but a few of my freinds have them on their 240 drift cars and they love them, but their idea of setting up a suspension is droping it as far as it goes lol.
