Just got mine done about two weeks ago . Unsure of the mileage on the valve cover wasn't the original. Have not had any issues. Mine was sand blasted if that makes any difference.

Well by what ive hear is that the media whether it be sand or coal slag etc can and will get stuck under the baffles and if it get out and into the oil it will eat the bearings

Well I have a track day on my car already and no issues have come up. Also just changed oil and nothing found in that either. Just depends on how good the person doing it is?
