Here's a small tip. Drill the new holes first while the bumper is still screwed to the metal. This way you know for sure the bumper will line up perfectly as before.

Was wondering how it's done. I actually thought that when your cut the tab there, you have to may be make a new one? To hold the bumper in place still?

Would that be needed or no?

And btw, great DIY and very understandable, thank you sir

Yes you do make a new one. Just use a drill and you can reuse the bumper screw or find something smaller at any hardware store.
