Did you end up just not using the remote bottle opener?

Great write-up brotha!

I was the victim of this nitrous-infused beast last night... -- That's the 2nd time someone has hidden nitrous from me!!

First time I had just gotten a tune in my old '01 S2K, so I was all expecting to beat my buddy... well it turns out he secretly put nitrous on his Integra and kicked my ass.

This time I just got my lighter flywheel & clutch installed in my current '04 S2k, so I was all expecting to beat my buddy... well it turns out he secretly put nitrous on his S2000 and... you guessed it: kicked my ass!

I hate my life. (until my SC is installed )

great write up bro... thanks. This an easy way to get some power when you need it....I have a few questions for you....

1. How much did everything involved to get it running including the kit cost you?

2. Have you tested yet? if so how are the gains?

3. Would you recommend having nitrous in their S?

thanks again and please whenever you can record a video of a race.

Argh! That terminal block abuse makes me sad.

Don't bridge like that. There are better ways to do it.

Google "Terminal Block Bus Bar" for a special purpose multi-tap bus bar. Or if you want to keep the same terminal block, the Google term is "Terminal Block Jumper" for purpose built jumpers that fit underneath the screws.

Also, jumpering like you did defeats one of the purposes of a terminal block since most of your spade is outside the protection of the guard insulators. I also can imagine those spades vibrating out in quick order.

All wires have been hidden. Thanks again Autozone!

The nitrous wires are inside that middle cable cover. (the thick red wire is for a sounds system that never came to be).

Future plans... I should get the extra bottle clamps later today actually and I will update this picture.

I sure did! I wish I had a video camera to show his reaction... haha. He honestly thought something was wrong with his car. See Driv300mph's post on the previous page.

Nice setup and great DIY guide!

Post some vids once you get the chance! I'm guessing it all works well? Does this kit have a trigger where it only activates with full throttle (when the system is switched on of course)?
