DIY Cup Holder Separator Fix
I know this is a ghetto DIY fix. But I literally just bought "77231-S2A-A51ZA SEPARATOR SET *NH167L* " from the local honda dealership and I installed the spring backwards. I went to take the separator out to install correctly and bent one of the arms upon doing so. Since I did not want to make Honda pay for me doing something retarded, nor myself, i came up with a fix with supplies around the house. And now I am here:
Things you will need:
1-Pen cartridge
1-Glue(i used 5min expoxy)
1-box cutter
1-#0 and #1 phillips screwdriver
and some of your favorite tunes
First...I removed the bent arm and spring from the separator

Second... bore out the the plastic for the ink cartridge

Third...Cut off about an inch of the ink cartridge and widen one end by slowly opening up the cartridge with screw drivers to fit over the good spring arm.

Fourth... Put new "ink cartridge" spring arm and spring back together. I place the ink cartridge over the good spring arm then glued the ink cartridge to both ends for greater support.

Now re-install correctly.
This takes about 5 minutes.
Many of you might say why be so cheap, its only $8, but I already spent $8 once on this part and to buy another would make it $16 total which I could not rationalize. Hopefully this helps some of you and you can put that $8 towards a couple gallons of gas
