Default Do 2008 seats fit 2005?

Considering buying a pair of 2008 seats for my 2005 SSM but don't know whether they will install without issue. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience they can share?

They fit in a Civic. #seatlocks.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Anyone have a legit response? Will MY08 seats fit in my MY05 S2k? Will the 08 seats fit my 05 rails and anchor without modifications?

Driver side will bolt right in but the passenger side rails will be different. You can mount the 08 seat on the 05 rail to install on passenger side.

You can swap the cushions over to your rails and you'll be fine. I sold my 06 seats to an AP1 owner and he was able to bolt them onto his old seat rails without any issues.

Thanks, //steve\\. That is the plan for the passenger side. According to some other member responses, the driver side should bolt right in with the 08 rails. Planning a trip next sunday to pick up the seats. Probably won't install till all the snow melts! Appreciate your time and response.

yes, the Drive side should just bolt up fine as all of the mounting locations on the car are the same
