Hey everyone,

im looking at purchasing a used invidia V3 dual, and was wondering about the pics the guy has sent me. Looks like they've burned/colored quite a bit more with his usage. Do all the tips end up looking like this? any negative to how this looks? should i just buy it brand new instead?

I have an Invidia that was bought used and after about an estimated 15k mine looks almost brand new, at least the ti tips and cans do. But I clean and polish the Ti and stainless steal quite often so that may have something to do with it. The coloring in the pics is unusual.

For what its worth, the Ti tips only stick out a very small amount from bumper on my AP2. When looking from above/behind only the blue tips show and when looking from the side they only stick out to about the V on the InVidia logo. You might find that the discoloring really isn't an issue for you after all. But I would do a test fit if possible and see for yourself.

Also, I'd be appreciative of the seller for showing that many pics of the condition of the exhaust and not trying to misrepresent the product.

 

thanks for the reply, it kinda makes me wonder if maybe he took a torch to them to get some extra coloring, but then if that was the case he wouldnt have had the two be a different amount of burn.

anyone else chime in on letting me know if i should just go new?
