Default Does anyone know where to get a OEM windshield for an 02 S?

I have been warned to stay away from aftermarket one's. The company who does all the windshields for Venice Honda told me yesterday that there is a national backorder for an OEM part. They say there are none available in the country. I only need one. Are AP1 and AP2 windshields the same? I'm located in S.W. FL. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

I believe windshields are same all years. Same for the trim. Definitely use oem rubber trim. Aftermarket stuff is junk in comparison.

Thanks. I was pretty sure that AP1 & AP2 windshields were the same. Having trouble finding OEM gasket. OEM windshield is probably impossible to find. Trying to find a Pinklington, but unsuccessful so far. Found some brands I never hear of. Will continue hunting.

Well finding an OEM windshield is impossible. Not having luck finding a decent aftermarket one either. No luck on an OEM gasket yet either. The appraiser almost cried when he saw my car yesterday.

He said he had never seen an S like mine. It's disfigured now, and undrivable with a smashed windshield.

Yeah windshield is on national back order. This molding is one day out according to the dealer I just called. 73150-S2A-013. Not sure if that is the seal you are looking for. If there are no OEM choices I would just go with a reputable company like Safelite to put in the aftermarket windshield. Someone that will warranty their work and that you can have fix things if there is issues.

I wouldn't trust safelite. Too many horror stories.

I’ve had good experiences with them in the past but never had the windshield replaced on my S.

I've had 3 windshields replaced by safelite over the years and they've been perfect every time. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, but my s2000 is just a 20 year old Honda, nothing fancy or exotic.
