Thumbs up Does fender rolling=liner removal?

I know there are hundreds of fender rolling threads, but this is a very specific question.

I want to have my front fenders rolled, but it's becoming pretty apparent that without removing or cutting back the inner fender liner rolling is pointless.

Am I on point here, or way off? If you've had your front fenders rolled or cut please chime in here.

Thanks!

I took a heat gun and made the plastic pliable in order to tuck it behind the tabs.

hmmm that's actually an ingenious solution. Hadn't contemplated that yet.

...Anybody else?

Thats usually the best way to do it. I have aftermarket fenders so i just trimmed the fender liner where it was rubbing

Definitely do not have to remove. I cut out the liner about an inch from the fender for the entire area I was going to roll. It's such a small space only so much crap will be able to get through it. I'm not too worried about it either.
