Default Does Hardtopguy sell reman'd calipers?

I am in need of a new drivers-side front caliper because the piston in mine has seized and is rusted pretty badly. I do not see the calipers listed on his site but was wondering if he is able to get the calipers, if so, at a decent price. The cheapest I've found a reman'd caliper at local dealerships is $113 which I think is a bit high. There is a core charge on top of this so I will be forking over $173 until I return the core. I did find the caliper at hondaautomotiveparts.com for $70 (+$18 S&H) which I feel is reasonable. I tried calling him but the guy that answered said he only works M-F; I wanted to get a heads up on if he sells them at all because I may hold off on ordering elsewhere if he can offer a better price and possible faster ship as my S is my daily driver.

Why did you post this here instead of calling them?

Did you even read my entire post, chief? If he doesn't offer them I will order elsewhere, if he does sell them I will order from him. My S is my daily driver so I would prefer ordering asap and this may be a deciding factor of where I order. I figured someone on the forums may have ordered from him before and would know.

I read your thread title and some of the rambling in your post. Maybe this is a better question:

Why did you start this thread with a misleading title instead of calling them first and then starting a thread about where to buy calipers with a more accurate title?

I think the thread title is perfect; want me to add "i checked the website and called but hes not there" to it? Someone who has ordered or knows if he carries the part I'm looking for could easily chime in and the thread would be over with.

If you must know, here's my order of operations:

1. Checked hardtopguys website but did not see calipers for sale
2. Called, kind man said mr hardtopguy only works M-F so I have to c\b then
3. Called local dealers and looked around online for prices
4. Decided hardtopguy may be able to offer a better price
5. Realized I cant call until Monday and I'm in a jam since my S is my daily driver so I would like to know ahead of time if I should wait until Monday to order from hardtopguy or place my order now if he doesn't sell them.

Ok, you got me. I was just giving you a hard time because the thread didn't make sense unless you read to the last sentence in the post, which I didn't do at first

Majestic Honda sells the remans for 70 and 90 for left and right. Apparently you can only buy them as remans and not new. I bolted on brand new Acura CL calipers for $150 each (not that I'm recommending that).

Napa sells them for $90 with a $50 core charge. I don't like reman parts though.
