I doubt it. The pic you posted has all rolled edges for strength whereas the original pic looks to be simply drilled. Without the roll, I'd suspect that being rear-ended would cause those to snap off.

If I remember correctly, the picture which the OP posted is in fact part of the Opera S2000 build. I found a thread here, which has a link at the end of the first post that links to the whole build in case anyone is interested. I know there are already multiple threads on S2Ki that are dedicated to this build, which goes to show how amazing it really is.

It is because it's painted the same color, white on the outside and gray on the inside as the Opera car featured in the SCC article. It's not like the trunk hinge needs any strength to it, so why chamfer the holes.
But, you are probably right about it being the same car. I was just making an observation on the holes themselves.
