Default Drive Shaft Spacers

I've never noticed any vibrations from lowering my car. It feels like it was stock. Am I oblivious to the vibrations? Should I even bother installing drive shaft spacers? Will the spacers cause vibrations if I dont' feel any currently? Thanks.

The spacers are a preventative measure to prevent the damage that eventually forms in the CV joints.

If you don't feel vibrations, don't install spacers. I would never install spacers, though; if you do ever feel vibrations just swap the CV buckets side to side.

I dont' feel any vibrations but if they are a preventive measure then I would do it. Just haven't gotten any clear cut answers on this.

The CV buckets can become pitted from driving at a certain ride height. If you change the ride height, the CVs will track in and out of these pits, since the CVs will sit in a different position in the buckets after the height adjustment.

Did you lower the car at relatively low mileage? Your CV buckets didn't get a chance to pit too badly, which is why you don't feel vibrations. Vibrations shouldn't start unless you change ride height again.

No, I lowered it at 100k plus. Ha, I feel no vibrations at all which is why I'm perplexed.

it depends on how much did you lower your car... if you change the ride height by like 1/4 inch somewhere down the line... then you might have issues. until then, you most likely don't need to worry about it.
