Default DSS axles level 0

Anyone have any experience with these?
My OEM axles are on their way out and these are less expensive than OEM.
My car is a weekend/track day car (maybe 6-8 track days a season).
I don't think I'll need the 2.9's because I'm not running forced induction.

Opinions?

Why just the buckets instead of replacing the whole thing? Cost savings?

Personally I'd buy OEM. I've heard many issues on the DSS axles and wouldn't skimp out.

For me at the time, Ballade seemed to have a stronger CV bucket/tripod design that wouldn't allow the buckets to pit like the OEM style CV buckets/tripod. When Driveshaft shop came out with there's, I just couldn't find any information on whether or not they strengthened their CV buckets or if it was a straight forward OEM replacement.

The only issue I have with going OEM is the pitting buckets as I am lowered and will be going a little lower/not slammed

I just installed a set of these but I also did my hubs too. So far I have 600kms on them and they're fine.

I would find an oem replacement, or rebuild them with ballade sports rebuild kit. Go to their website for more details on ballade sports.

Regardless, you still get the most mileage and reliability out of the OEM units. Say the pitting starts at 80k miles; rotate the CV bucket for another 80k miles.

Are you claiming the DSS Level 0 axles has corrected the pitting issue by design? They use the same spider configuration as the OEM unit. The trade is you spend less money with DSS now, and pay for it later.
