+1 for the Tanabe Medallion Touring. I can barely hear mine over wind noise when cruising, but it sounds nice when you're foot to the floor in VTEC.

I have the Tanabe Medallion as well. It's a mature exhaust for sure when driving conservatively but opens up nicely when you're WOT. I will say that after I put a HFC the exhaust noise is considerably louder than with the OEM cat. It's still very reasonable though. You won't get pulled over because of your exhaust for sure.

Just realized I wrote that the Tanabe and Mugen are quieter than stock. I meant they are a little bit LOUDER than stock**

If you don't want to drop $750 for the tanabe or $1000 for the mugen buy a hfc or tp and uk mod your stock exhaust. I went with a 38mm uk mod both times now and it sounds amazing (like a g37) with a resonated test pipe. Its a little raspier and louder with a non resonated tp but I like it a little better cuz I get a ton of exhaust pops between 3-4k rpms and it sounds pretty good still!

My grandfather has a Neuspeed stainless catback on his s2000 and he loves it. I drove his car to compare it to my single exit Fujitsubo catback and his is defiantly more quiet for a daily driver. It is also a nice looking duel catback and reasonably priced.
