oh yeah the aem ems is super overkill for my present situation, but few things made me do it.

1: found a good deal on this setup. 1250 shipped for the aem 1052u, aem wideband, aem serial gauge, and pod.

2: i WILL go FI eventually....

3: i want to tune it on my own, and i felt learning on my own car NA would be easier then my own car FI.

dyno time was cheap when your doing all the work your self. it took 2 hours at the dyno to tune it and i have infinite possibility for the future the three things on my mind are 1> PD supercharger, 2> KW supercharger 3>inline pro kit with gt30. all three will put a smile on my face, just gotta make a choice.

if your not going FI, dont get this. emange ultimate is awesome from what i hear, and a vafc will at least get the job done for WOT application at a fraction of the cost.

Yea i think some people are exagerating but i can imagine it is a stronger gas smell. And yea its great for the money imo. If I can get even 4-5 hp for $100 then I'm happy. I mainly bought it for the sound though. I don't wanna fork up $800 or more for an exhaust system, plus I don't want the exhaust to be super loud. So a test pipe seemed like a happy medium
i can honestsly say you get use to it to the point you dont notice it anymore. peiople sometimes complain when there in the car and i am stopiing at a light that they smll exhuast. truthfully, i think its the car next to me thats tailpipe is aiming at my car. i mean really, i have pulled next to some trucks where their pipe is all but aimed right at my window.

i never notice my own car at all. furthermore, anyone that complains there cars rear bumper gets sooty and dirty is full of crap. i have been on tp for damn near 2 years and my bumper looks awesome. just DEW IT!

Oh I'm gonna dew it alright I already have a Berk TP on its way in the mail. I can't wait! The Greddy should be good, its only $200 more than the Apexi yet you can do timing like you said. So I guess I'll add that one to my summer mod list

I'm sure some have...but honestly, if you are going through the expense of an FI system, I would get the best for tuning. Either EMS or Motec if you can afford it.
