hi guys! i just want to ask about the dynojet pull. on what gear do you do your dyno pull to get accurate results? 3rd gear or 4th gear? for ap1 f20c s2000 thanks!

i dont think its a matter of how much power is made, its a matter of the 1:1 ratio of how exact the horsepower is? correct me if im wrong.

 

some dynos have corrections for dyno in different gears. for fun, i dyno'd in 3, 4, and 5. all power numbers where with in a percent or 2 of each other. it was nothing crazy. but, typically you dyno in 4th or 5th gear. my weaksauce power was spinning the tires on one dyno in 4th, so had to do 5th rofl.

I did 3rd and i thought that was a little weird, but I just listened to my tuner.

 

when i was tuning the accord, i did most of the pulls in 3rd or 4th gear.

then again, the accord was 5spd while the s is 6spd.

 

4th gear.... I told him to do a 3rd gear pull and my 4th gear was stronger.
