Default ebay intake

when i bought my car it had an AEM cold air intake. one day i went through a puddle and the car turned off because the intake had sucked up water. so i got pist and cut it and made it a short ram. well now ive learned that wheen your car is dropped and you have a cold air intake you have to drive slow in the rain. so i decided to go back to cold air. i chjose one of those 70 dollar ebay intakes. i am so happy with the new intake! vtec pops amazingly and it sounds really loud even over my straight piped dual exhaust ( test pipe + resonator de;ete into 4 inch mufflers.) i really eel vtec popping alot harder and the sound is just amazing. everything fit perfectly and i really recomend this intake to anyone whos also looking to get an intake for their s2k. the first picture is my custom short ram lmaoo the other 2 are of the ebay intake

There is nothing wrong with the ebay CAI's except for the filter. It looks like you might have put the filter from your old AEM? If so, that was a smart choice.

Yeah a pipe is a pipe. Filter would be the possible difference.

Not true. Length and diameter both have effects on the powerband.

The differences are negligible though...

It's obviously a copy of a name brand one. So a pipe is a pipe here. Just would swap out the filter. Who knows the ebay filter can be fine though. Not really too difficult to make a decent air filter I wouldn't think.
