Great way to ruin a Great car. From what I've found on his blog,he has added 300lbs in weight, therefore screwing up the balance of the car.

The guy says several times that pushing it to highway speed really drains the battery and admits that he'll never see a return on his investment.

Guy obviously has more money than sense and as a car enthusiast I'm appalled that someone would ruin well balanced sports car, just so he didn't have to pay for gas.

I've seen this a while back. Pretty neat for just a daily driver, but I dont think he should have done it to an s2000.

Guys, there are so many s2000s out there. Our car isn't really that special, I hate to admit it.

If he wanted to make it an EV, than so be it. There are many other s2000s out there. You guys thinking tracking the sh*t out of the car is good for it's resale value? If he enjoyed it that way, then so be it.

He actually is trying to sell it, did you happen to see that link he posted? Ill post the link at the end of this comment. Asking $23,999 for it!? That will never happen. Especially since he said he used 60% of the charge on a 35 mile drive. You can never drive it very far without a charge. No going on fun road trips or even a town an hour away. This car is only good for driving strait to work, strait back if your work isnt to far away that is. Here is that link:

I do agree it is his car, he can do whatever he wants to it.
