Does this seem like a good deal:

Oh and i'd probably do a strut bar too, any ideas?
That ones seems fine. Idk you should do some reasearch on a strut bar. I know some guys had to cut a peice off the sheild of the FIPK to fit a strut bar. Not worth it at all imo. Try to find one that will work with it if you want one.

Well I just saw this one. He just had to trim the weather stripping on his to get his spoon strut bar to fit.

Also there are alot of strut bars that rub on the intake pipe and if you ever take it off, your intake will look like crap. Also, for some reason I think a strut bar just covers the good look of the FIPK, they are worthless anyways.

I had a cheapo $30 ebay stb before that fit perfect and didn't rub anything at all with the fipk. I think most will clear fine. That one is a weird design where the stb is like positioned forward for some reason..

Dang, well at least I know now. I got that pic from his FS thread for the cooling plate, but he said its a spoon strut bar.

^ Wow now thats nice! Good to see a nice coolant overflow and being able to keep your cruise control in the original spot.

It actually just slides right onto the bracket there same as the oem part so no drilling or anything is required for installation. Completely plug and play with a 2 minutes or less install.

Love my FIPK and AUT plate. Looks so much better when I pop the hood and performs even better.

I have yet to see a review about a STB not working. I've only heard that they don't work. If they're installed properly, then they should work. The review's I did read are positive. I'm thinking some one just started this myth, just like the whole "back pressure" thing.

On OUR cars stb's don't do anything. Most FWD cars will benefit from one, but there really isn't a difference with the S. Anything that people experience from one is probably placebo.

And backpressure isn't necessarily a myth, its just not the correct word. You want the largest exhaust exit possible, while still maintaining a good velocity. The smaller the tube the faster the velocity, to a point. "Backpressure" is the ignorant persons way of saying you need to balance the amount of air escaping the engine by making sure you have a large enough exhaust pipe, but not too large or the velocity of the air drops.
