well if thats what preload means, then I guess thats what I did.
I set the car on the ground then torqued the top 2 nuts on each strut tower, so I guess that means I preloaded??

Ok, I have a really stupid question to ask here.
I have espilirs and installed one side at a time.
By accident I preloaded one side and did not preload the other, basically I forgot to tighten the top bolts on one side in the front before I lowered it down. They have been on for several months now and it seems like the side I preloaded is about a quarter of an inch lower than the other side.
Is there any way to fix this?

How much more will these springs wear out stock shocks? Mine have 45k miles on them and am debating if it would be a good idea to swap out to espelirs. I'm currently on Tein high techs and want to go a bit lower
