well if thats what preload means, then I guess thats what I did.

I set the car on the ground then torqued the top 2 nuts on each strut tower, so I guess that means I preloaded??

Ok, I have a really stupid question to ask here.

I have espilirs and installed one side at a time.

By accident I preloaded one side and did not preload the other, basically I forgot to tighten the top bolts on one side in the front before I lowered it down. They have been on for several months now and it seems like the side I preloaded is about a quarter of an inch lower than the other side.

Is there any way to fix this?

i have esplirs i love the ride but want to go lower.
anyone with esplirs with koni shocks on the lower perche??

Wow perfect comparison! It's crazy how a ~1in. drop can make a gorgeous car look even better!

How much more will these springs wear out stock shocks? Mine have 45k miles on them and am debating if it would be a good idea to swap out to espelirs. I'm currently on Tein high techs and want to go a bit lower .

you could just go and loosen the bolts on the side you didn't preload on and preload it.

Any of you guys with Espiler springs race, prticularly autox? i want to lower the car cause damn it looks good on these springs, but am worried about messing up the handling. Thansk!
