Default Espelir ASD on AP2

any pics of Ap2s with espelir ASD springs would be greatly appreciated.

also, would these springs cause my tires (F-225 R-255) to rub?

I've had my Espelir ASDs on my 07 for quite some time now. Keep in mind that they do drop the car more than advertised, I'd say about 2.5 inches or so. As the poster said above, you will not rub with the tire sizes you mentioned, as that's what I ran before I went to my aftermarket wheels.

Also, keep in mind that with these springs, you will not be able to align your car to OEM specs. As long as you keep your toe setting in check, your tire wear will be fine.

If you choose to eventually go to aftermarket wheels, you must realize that since these springs are low, you'll have to watch the offsets you get. You may have to roll/modify your fender wells.

Here are some random pics that I grabbed from my Photobucket. The account is public, so feel free to look at the other car pics I have in there if you need more.

OEM AP2v2 wheels at ~38,000 miles. Fronts were 215 and rears were 255.

Had ASD springs on for only 1 week in this picture. Put them on at ~7,000 miles and they've been on ever since. HPDE session at Pocono.

~45,000 miles with a 25lb Chase Race hitch, 40lb bike rack, and ~50lb downhill bike weighing down the rear. Rear wheels are 17x9 with a +43 offset I believe. Had to roll my fender and relocate the rear bumper tab.

Howdy!

Espelir ASD springs on my AP2 (2007), the wheels are SSR Comp-C's in 18x8, 18x9 (225/255 Pirelli P-Zero )

I'm pretty sure a 225/255 combo on stock [offset] wheels would be zero problems - mine are _very_ close but I'm going to do a "UK Spec" alignment in a few hundred more miles and I might do a slight rear fender roll.
