Can this be done without removing the rsb? I hear its a pain in the ass to get the endlinks back on.

YEP! Let's say you had the rear jacked up. you were looking directly at the rear diff and the RSB. You'll notice on the left and right side of the RSB, it's held on by two brackets using 14mm bolts. Just remove those on both sides and the RSB just comes right down, while remaining attached at the end links.

I think I will be investing in these soon. I just looked at Hasport's mounts and being double the price to do the same task seems somewhat counter intuitive to me.

I had diff collars worked quite well but was noisey as hell even so I ended up selling them in the end

Not quite. But I can see why you thought that. The mount has the metal tube in between them where the diff mounts through. The collars are formed to sit on those tubes. And the collars sit inside the lip of the mounts.
