Default Exedy Stage 1..thoughts?

Im finished with my ACT stage 3 and I want to switch to a more daily friendly clutch.
I have done some research on the Exedy stage 1 but am looking for more personal experience from people....any thoughts?

me me me!

I have a Exedy OEM replacement, came with the clutch disk, pressure plate, and both bearings. I also picked up a generic lightened (11 lb) chromoly flywheel from FirstF1, and installed it myself. FIrst off, the exedy stage 1 is exactly (as far as I can tell, down to all the detailed "HONDA" stamps) the same as the Honda OEM clutch/pressure plate. Not too sure about the bearings, but they were both made in japan.

Been running it for I think a little more than a year, and its awesome! Grabs hard enough to chirp 2nd gear and no clutch buzz (updated clutch disk). I'm pretty damn happy with it. If I had to change something, I'd prpbably get a lighter flywheel. At low RPMs theres still a slight lag for rev-up but at higher RPMS (where if you were racing, you'd be...) its pretty instant.

You guys are referring to the OEM Replacement. I don't think Exedy makes a Stage 1 kit for the S2000.

But just to be clear, the Stage 1 is an upgrade from their OEM Replacement line.
