Default Exhaust burble

Which aftermarket exhausts for the s2k will burble/pop on deceleration? And is this with a test pipe? I just love that sound and would like to get one of these exhausts. Thanks

Not sure, but I thought getting that effect was more about being FI than having a catback?

My 3in berk test pipe headerback single does that once in a while. But I think with a header it would backfire more.

My PLM header, Berk 70mm cat, and Invidia Q300 does it at low RPM.

It's a result of excess fuel being ejected unburnt. A test pipe makes it more likely at stock mappings, but the most noticeable effect will come from remapping the ECU to overfuel on deceleration/idle. This requires an aftermarket ECU.

The SRT-4 burbles and pops because the stock exhaust supposedly uses just resonators and no muffler.

Ok that makes sense. I will probably end up getting an invidia q300 with a test pipe.

depends on what kind of poping - the berk exhaust will but it's a loud ricey sound - if you want the deep burble like the neons you will need the proper exhaust and tuning to correct the rich condition.

this is with a skunk2 header, test pipe and custom mandrel bent 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust with 18 inch magnaflow muffler - not a great video and it sounds a lot deeper in person but you get the idea.
