Default EXHAUST MOD :D

wats up fellas! well ive been having the mod bug bite me, but moneys pretty tight so i just removed it all lol
i kept my CAT, but thats the end of my exhaust...the car looks a little funny with the 2 empty holes but itll do for now
Sounds
-a little louder than i expected
-drones alot within th 3-5 rpm range
-idle and wot sounds amazing

reduced a good 35-45 pounds so i guess thats good... has the nice backfireing crackle sounds...which i love

would i recommend you guys to do it.... idk haha personal preference...

im just excited because this is the first "mod" ive done to my car...and i did it myself ;D

anyone else do this as well?
feel free to ask questions

I'll only say this. Whatever you do, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT, put a TP on there.

DISCLAIMER:
I'm not responsible for the outcome if you decide to replace your cat with a TP.

Another option if you're on a budget is to pick up a spare stock exhaust, cut off the mufflers, and have an exhaust shop finish it off with some pipe and a tip.

honestly i would say leave it on until you can afford a new custom/aftermarket exhaust.

i kept my boring stock exhaust on until i could afford my Tanabe medallion touring and i LOVE it!

the noise gets old QUICK. i was on the way home from a long roadtrip in my last car and snagged rebar in the road(car was lowered) and it literally ripped my exhaust off. I unbolted it at the cat and left it on the side of the road, I must say the remainder of that drive was unbearable.

to me this is more ricey than a legit "mod"

my friend removed his axle-back on his gen coupe, he was very proud of it. he put it back on telling me it was the most ricey thing he's done lol
but to each his own. i prefer to see, i guess, some custom work with the stock exhaust

This isn't a mod. It's just kind of depressing.

There's a good chance your loosing power by doing this also. If you were boosted it would benefit you but not n/a
