Was in the same boat as you a few months ago. I bought a greddy tic dual from a fellow member and i love it. very quiet and no drone. its louder than stock but not obnoxious, perfect for daily driving
Do they still sell them brand new? I just checked out Greddy's website and it doesn't seem like they have it on there for the S2000.
The TIC is loud and has drone, do not buy it if you drive the car often during the summer weeks. Even the SE has drone, but it is not quite as loud. I am thinking about buying another SE Dual after going through many exhausts.

I've used:
- Stock w/ Stock Cat
- HKS Hi-Power w/ stock cat
- Greddy SE Dual w/ Berk HFC
- ASM 60mm Single Exhaust w/ test pipe
- Greddy SE Single w/ test pipe
- ASM 70mm Single w/ test pipe
- ASM 70 Single w/ Berk HFC

I'm now using the stock exhaust again with a Berk HFC, if that is any indication on what to expect if you daily drive the S2000.

Which one would have more drone? SE dual with stock cat, 70mm HFC or test pipe?

The drone would lessen with the HFC and would be even less with the Test pipe. If I do in fact buy the SE dual again, I will be using a test pipe.

Maybe with a test pipe. It would be louder but less drone?

Exactly, the exhaust note gets louder, while the drone lessens. I experimented over the summer, and in one day I went from stock cat, to HFC, to test pipe to hear how the exhaust sound changed.

Drone is the byproduct of restriction. Less restriction in the cat area, the less drone there would be. OEM cat=most drone. HFC=less drone. Test pipe=least drone.

A test pipe actually helps with drone since the exhaust gasses go strait through with less restriction, with a cat it actually might quiet the volume of the exhaust a

little, but there will be more drone.

Anyone think this is a good deal? Thinking about pulling the trigger on the exhaust.
