Default Exhaust suggestions, ready for a change

Well, I think its time for a change. I'm currently running Comptech icebox/Invidia test pipe/comptech exhaust. Now im ready for something louder. I've listened to just about every youtube clip I can handle and I'm still not sure what to get. I know a lot of you guys have the T1R and HKS. Do either of these sound raspy/ricey? I loved the Comptech but it wasnt loud enough so I got the test pipe. The overall loudness is ok but it got pretty raspy.

Any suggestions would be great...thanks

Go for any titanium 70mm+ non resonated. 12 lbs or less + the loudness you are looking for.

If you were considering a Buddy Pro Spec Dual, I could shoot you some pics and maybe a clip. It is circuit race inspired and has a very deep, throaty tone. I absolutely love it ! Overall quality I would rate as a 7

I think you said you already had a Comptech so I won't go ahead and suggest that Actually until you posted this thread I didn't think I had any desire to change it up. Now I'm kind of rethinking....hmmm

I don't think I can get rid of my comptech. I paid peanuts for it brand new ($400CAD or about $300USD at the time) and I get complimented on how awesome it sounds on the highway from other cars without it being overbearing.

Go grab a new header and see if you like your Comptech and test pipe then

BTW, I felt the same way about the Comptech being too quiet with a cat, so I grabbed a test pipe a year and some ago as well.

I also have this exhaust for my AP2. VERY deep and it sounds great. Inside, however, it's a little mind numbing, but if you don't mind, the outside sounds absolutely incredible. It's a very easy install, and you can adjust the canisters quite a bit if they don't fit quite right in the bumper outlets.

I don't know the exact piping size, but it's pretty big too. The canisters both andle outward just a tiny bit too.

Do you guys have any raspy sound from these exhausts you're suggesting? Also, I don't want anything crazy loud..but definately louder than the Comptech and test pipe set up i currently have...oh, and duals are a must!!
