Great idea Silver. Just need to give it a bit of time to allow people to post weights. Don't think people will just unbolt exhausts to get a weight. Maybe sponsors who sell exhausts could help a little with the stuff they have in stock?

Nice idea for a thread. As for Afwfjustin's question, the T1R test pipe that I have already has brackets welded to it so you can just bolt on the stock cat shield.
thanks for the heads up, I'm happy.

And yes silver, keep the thread going.

I just bought a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust, and it's still sitting around waiting to be installed. The weight is 42.5 lbs.

Silver9k: as people post their results, you should copy them up to your first two posts in the thread.

BTW, are you sure the stock exhaust is 50 lbs?

My Js 70mm ti headerback exhaust weighs 10lbs. my Js racing header weighs 10 lbs. My head throbs 10x more now than with the stock exhausts.

That was my original plan...I'll probably delete a few of my other posts as well once this thread gets going. And I weighed my stock cat-back and it weighed in at exactly 50lbs, although my scale is only good to the 1/2 lb. I just did this on Friday so...yup pretty sure

Also to somebody else, I wasn't expecting people to take there exhausts off and weigh them just for this thread...haha...no way, but I know that there are a lot of people out there who did weigh their exhausts before installing them and have the information available, I just want to consolidate it all into one thread.

Also, jerryk...I'm guessing the headerback is one piece...I think J's does that, so thats cool. But on the header...thats with or without wrap...I guessed without but just want to be sure.

Lastly, thank you to those who are participating, I think this can help other S2k'ers in the future.
