oh that's a good point.

i actually have the same thing on my car, with the 63mm high flow cat. happens in the same spot.

i always assumed small exhaust leak, but the car never showed any problems on the dyno or in the 3x its been tuned, so that's good news for us.
I'm thinking it might just be due to more flow and the fact that most test pipes have much thinner walls than the factory cat.

In the next couple days, I'm going to swap the factory cat back in to see if anything changes. I'll report back.

After driving around tonight, it's definitely starting to sound more like a very small exhaust leak. Kind of a slight rasp to it. I'm gonna replace the donut gasket and the house gasket and see if that fixes it. I'm hoping that some of the bolts just worked themselves loose.

Well, I installed a T1R resonated TP today. Still notice the sound, and I'm noticing it to sound like a hiss/buzz. Installed all new gaskets including the donut gasket.

i have the same issue after installing the berk TP. tried a new gasket and all and it never went away. i even stuck my hand under the car to feel around where the header and TP meet when the car was on and still cool to see if i could feel a leak and couldnt find one.

my guess would be that its just a by product of the TP install.

I'm actually gonna put the Invidia test pipe back on today. The T1R resonated test pipe really quieted it down, almost too much.
