It's highly likely they settled out of court, and A&J hired a high priced lawyer or just ponied up the cash, forced J's to sign a non-disclosure form by paying extra and called it a day.

If I'm reading this correctly, A&J Racing has been producing bootleg J's Racing parts? From what I remember, they have a bad reputation here. How are they still a sponsored company on this website?
i dont think anyone of us will know how the issue was resolved... but AJ is still a reputable vendor here even after the incident. they are still around, that means some of the rumours we were reading may not be true so i assumed that will be the only reason that they would be around.

from what i have been reading so far, i don't see any members bought any knock off js stuff from them so that made me judged wisely.

Old news, contact any of our sponsors here that sell j's: gotuning, evasive, etc.

Anyone else think it's a little bit odd that... if the deadline at the bottom is April 22, 2009, that means it must have been written before April. If their business relationship started sometime in 2002, then they've been in business for 6-7 years. Who the hell rounds up to 9?
yes it is odd. i bet most ppl here enjoy bashing more than reading the entire what they call it "legal letter" wasn't even written properly but i guess not too many ppl paid attention while reading

Maybe it's just me, but that letter doesn't sound very professional.
you are right. it's not professional at all. it sounded like a kid from kindergarden got beaten and he says " you beat me up, i will tell your father !"

I saw that letter from J's a while back, but I always crack up when I read No. 9, "Notification of the issue to your father..." LOL!

Indeed those are old news.. but to me all this shit about fake-original J's part only shows that J's has a poor control over its Taiwanese part manufacturers.. thats the only explanation on why there are so many J's parts in the market that are apparently original (probably manufactured in the same factory) but formally faked (distributed outside the control of J's)

There was no formal lawsuit against AJ.. just some childish posts from the J's Racing owners in some blogs.. so obviously there's something to hide (at both sides)
