Probably a post on this already, but I want to make a metal piece to nicely slot over the gear lever for myS2k, Has this been done before? was it a success? Pics welcome?

I mean with all the 6 notches, that makes the it look like an automatic!!!

A thinner plate with nice 6 drop.....

 

I think the term is gated shifter.

the tranny moves too much and I think it would really bang up our shifter.

 

It looks "wannabe" to me. Even though it looks good, but it just doesnt fit the s2000s console.
