Should I paint my carbon fiber authentic mugen top black to match my black car?

Oem and real Mugen fit best. If buying an aftermarket top getting the oem seals and hardware will help it fit the best.

As for painting the top top it’s up to preference. If it’s on a black car though why not just have it wrapped? That way it is removable if you ever wanted to go back or sell it.

FYI, you can go back to CF after it's painted. Had one of my Mugen CF tops painted when my car when Truffle Mica. Then when I had another color swap done, I had body shop do another paint pattern on the top, which required some paint to be stripped and the carbon finish recleared.

When you sand carbon to paint it doesn’t the carbon lose its original pattern and clarity?
