Well hardtop was but it came with the car...so maybe it doesn't count

I didn't plan to mod my car (don't fix it unless its broken), but work related stress is pushing me towards retail therapy. The only mods I would want to do are a ~8lb flywheel and dymags but they went outta business. I have an extra set of bbs forged mags lying around off my 911s but the bolt pattern and offset won't work. I think te37 look ugly and belong on civic. If I'm gonna do it I'm goin all out.

4.57 gears sounds nice but I don't know if it'll affect the streetabilty of the car. I think it revs high enough in 6th gear as is. Where could I get them? Buy a ready made one from puddy?

Gear change on my bike made a difference so I would imagine it makes a bigger difference on the S. It's a lot easier to swap sprockets and pop a chain than pull the rear end out of the S tho definitely not something I could do in my backyard.

From what I have read the gears can make a huge difference. Best bet would be to get one from puddy as you mentioned. I presume that is the Berk HFC in the pic. Nice too...just ordered a 70mm TP myself (no inspections where I live ).

So I installed it on Sunday. The hardest part was getting the stock cat off. Thank god I had an impact gun otherwise I would've never broke the 14mms loose given the limited amount of space I had. Took 15minutes or less to get the berk hfc in once the stock came out. I pulled the ecu fuse and did the idle learning procedure.

I had a testpipe on my gsr and boy did that make a difference throughout the entire range on that car especially since it had cams. On the S the butt dyno registers no or little top end gain. I feel there are some nice gains down low and in midrange most obviously between 3 to 6k rpm great because that's where I'm driving most. The noise is maybe 5% more barely noticeable difference to me and I was expecting loud (I have a stock exhaust). Sounds nice actually.

Still has the testpipe smell. I can tell when I park it in the garage even after its fully warmed. I don't this will pass smog in cali...I think my car is running rich damnit I might need a vafc
