Flat black it then run down to advance auto and pick up a can of "grabber green" spray paint. You can problably mask the tires off and do the wheels in that for extra jdm bling.

I have to say that I'm from the younger generation of owners. I've had my car for quite a few years and I would never flat black it. Seems like a cheap way to fix something that wouldn't be so bad at a reputable shop.

you are all crazy.

flat black is sickness.

its not a fad, its a statement. its the my car is so badass it doesnt need to reflect shit.

my buddy had a flat black car and it was awesome. and the easiest thing to maintain. spray it with water, wash it, spray it again to rinse of the soap. let air dry. never had water spots, never needed to be waxed. just looked good.

in the end though, its a personal preference. so if you dont like it, thats fine. cant be mad at people for not liking what others do.

on a ferrari? cool. it'll probably be done right because it's a ferrari and it's an expensive job to do properly. the owner has the loot to blow and the shop will make sure it's perfect.

on a stock ap1 s2000? no.

Those two black cars aren't "flat" by the way, they're satin. Satin black looks amazing, flat black not so amazing, I've had a car in each color. ;p
If you want to get it done man I really suggest you check out:

That paint is not only affordable but it'll save you the trouble of trying to figure out when you've added enough reducer and stuff, so, give it a shot if you're going for it IMO
